Initial Consultation

Your initial consultation involves the review of your completed life style assessment and nutritional symptomatology utilizing a detailed body system assessment tool. These forms have been completed and returned to me via email, fax or Canada Post prior to this visit. Body metabolism, physical symptoms, current diet and lifestyle, stress management, familial situations and history, as well as personal goals are all discussed to help me design an individual nutritional program. Live and dry blood cell analysis complements this visit and the results will assist us in confirming any suspected imbalances and nutritional deficiencies. In short, your plan is developed based on your personal uniqueness and “bio-individuality”. Current medical issues such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, heart disease, and prescribed medications are also taken into consideration.

Things To Know:

For an accurate analysis of your blood, you must fast for at least 3-4 hours prior to this initial session. You should however drink plenty of water. For a 9:30 am session breakfast should not be eaten.

Following your initial visit you will be given “homework” to be completed prior to your second consultation. This homework will consist of compiling a seven day food and mood journal to help us identify any possible food sensitivities, nutrient imbalances, and also where improvements can be made. Other homework will depend upon the individual.

At the conclusion of this “getting to know you” session, you will take away several relevant written educational handouts pertaining to your specific concerns, “tips and suggestions” on how to eat healthier, and a copy of your personal blood picture evaluation for your reference. This live and dry blood evaluation record becomes a useful gauge for us in tracking your progress as you embark on a new “Path to Health”.

Nutritional and Live Blood Cell Follow Up

We will review in detail your food and mood journal as this will be the basis of recommendations and suggestions. We will also discuss how successful you were in adhering to the food and lifestyle recommendations from the initial visit (eg, what was challenging, what was simple, and how these changes impacted your symptoms).

Additional nutritional and lifestyle guidelines will be discussed based on this insight, the content of your food journal, and our resulting discussion on any changes in symptoms or general well-being. Initial preparation may begin if gearing towards a specific protocol such as an Anti-Candida diet, liver detoxification, seasonal cleansing, heartburn, gas, or other digestion issues.

Typically these sessions evolve into a coaching and/or feedback session focusing on a select well-being objective(s).

This visit includes Live & Dry Blood Analysis which is used to monitor your progress as you adhere to the custom tailored protocol, lifestyle adjustments and stress management that was recommended to you.
